North Bay Fires and How You Can Help

Posted on Published by

CCCT’s long-time sponsor, Well Grounded Tea & Coffee Bar, is helping to collect items for our neighbors in need. Read below for details on how you can help.

The Wildcat 4-H Club of Fairmont Elementary School is collecting items to take to the Redwood Empire Food Bank in Santa Rosa to supply evacuation centers throughout the affected area. They are in dire need of ready-to-eat, non-perishable foods such as snacks, fresh fruit, various nutritional bars, bottled water, or other healthy drinks. These should be easy to open and easy to eat – many shelters do not have kitchens for heating and preparing food. Try to think what you would like to have, and donate some of that.

They have placed a donation box at Well Grounded Tea & Coffee Bar, 6925 Stockton Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, (510) 528-4709, (Open 06:00 am ~ 06:00 pm).

NO GLASS containers or perishable foods, please.

The first delivery will be Friday, October 13, with additional deliveries each week.

If we all give a little, we should end up with a lot.
