We are thrilled to share the good news. On August 19th, we will begin work. Yes, that’s right, on our ROOF.
Thanks to your generosity and support from the City of El Cerrito, we will be replacing all the oldest parts of the roof that could possibly date as far back as the 1940’s when some of the sections of our building were WWII Quonset storage huts! In the future, when we raise the additional funds, we will complete the last quarter of the roof system.
We are so happy we will be entering the rainy season under a watertight roof with a comfortable gathering place that also protects our investment in precious theatrical equipment.
With deep gratitude for your continued support and kindness; see you at the Theatre!
