Special guest: Marly Norris

The best parties always end up in the kitchen, so pull up a seat and grab your favorite beverage for this first in a series of intimate, one-on-one conversations with CCCT’s audiences and artists.

Our guest for May is Marly Norris, Vice President for Advancement & Public Affairs, COVID-19 Lead, at Dominican University of California. Here’s a little bit more about Marly:

Marly Norris has worked for two decades in fundraising for higher education and cultural institutions. Currently Vice President for Advancement at Dominican University of California (and COVID-19 Lead for the entire campus, an exhausting combination). Norris has also worked at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of San Francisco. On the cultural side of the house, Norris led corporate & foundation philanthropy at the Smithsonian Institution (which translates to nineteen museums, nine research centers, and the National Zoo), led efforts at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and Marin Theatre Company. Prior to working in fundraising, Norris worked in concert touring and promotion, including time spent with a world-famous Bay Area band, which she will only discuss after a sufficient amount of wine is consumed.

She lives in Richmond with her husband Mike Reynolds and four demanding dogs.
