CCCT relies on hundreds of volunteers every season to help make the magic of theatre happen in and for our community.
Currently, we are accepting usher sign-ups for all shows in our 2018-19 season; click on the specific item on the list below for the appropriate sign-up page. Performances are generally Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. [Ushers see the show for FREE.]
We also have a few Work Parties (for Allegiance and the Costume Shop) and Celebratory Events in the works. [Complimentary tickets for volunteering.]
We have dozens of volunteer opportunities available; everything from helping in the office to building sets to ushering before the show. We’ve listed a few roles below to get you thinking.
Be the face of CCCT and help our patrons enjoy a magical evening of theatre. Duties include greeting the patrons as they arrive at theatre, taking tickets, helping them to their seats, and serving concessions at intermission. Plus, you’ll get to see the show for free! Estimated Total Hours: 4 hours per show. Volunteer Guidelines, here.

Did you ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes to get a show ready to open? You can be part of the magic as one of our beautiful sets comes together and transforms from chaos to reality by being a set builder, a set dresser, or a set painter! Being a helper to one of these folks is a great way to learn how it’s done and we’d love to teach you if you’re interested. You say you’re not afraid of heights? Then maybe lighting is the place to be. OK — working on the stage is not for you? Well, are you people friendly? If so, consider being an usher, help out in the office, or volunteer to deliver postcards to area businesses. If yard sales are more up your alley, you can gather props. There’s always a need for a handyman to help with maintenance. In short, there is a place for everyone at CCCT!
